(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Currently thousands of activists are gathering in the streets of Cairo, in protest of the Tunisian revolution, calling for an end to Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.
According to TechCrunch, reports say Twitter’s website and mobile site now appears to be blocked in the country because the rallies were organized through Facebook and Twitter. However, the block has not stopped people from tweeting through third party sites to rally support for the demonstrations.
As of now, reports say Facebook remains up and running in the country.
