(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The availability of Apple’s iPhone continues to grow among smaller mobile providers. On Friday, a report from CBS News noted U.S. Cellular would begin offering the popular smartphone.
The move follows other smaller providers including Virgin Mobile and Crick Wireless announcing similar plans within the past year or so.
Company CEO Mary Dillon told investors the news Friday, according to CBS News. However, no release date or model type has been specified.
The iPhone was initially only available at wireless carrier AT&T when initially launched back in 2007.
