(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Last week, Ubisoft released a day one patch for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag featuring more than 40 updates intended to “optimize player experience.” The company highly recommended downloading the patch before playing.
Patch one includes single player bug and crash fixes that correct issues with load times, freezing, connection and sign in difficulties.
On the other hand, the patch addressed multiplayer issues related to gameplay, the menu and crashes.
Specifically, the patch also adds support for the game’s Freedom Cry trailer, corrects an issue that made it “impossible to kill Duncan Walpole,” and delivers the ability for gamers to Teleport after enacting the Minor Hack perk.
While emphasizing that the patch was “thorough,” Ubisoft noted that should users encounter additional problems, they can reach out to the game developer via the company’s Support page or Twitter account.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was released in North America October 29th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
