(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – UK-based data center solutions provider Infinity SDC has a new chairman.
The company today revealed that Ian McKenzie, an individual with knowledge and experience in telecommunications will replace outgoing company chairman John Leighfield.
Before coming to Infinity SDC, McKenzie worked most notably for over three decades at British Telecom, a provider of broadband, TV, and phone services.
“Ian’s extensive experience will be invaluable to Infinity. It’s imperative for that, as Infinity grows, we continue to maintain the extremely high level of diligence in the way we operate and scale our business. Infinity is looking to set the gold standard for service operations in the data centre industry,” stated outgoing Chairman Leighfield in a press release.
Regarding the matter, the data center company signaled that the move concerned a plan and commitment by Infinity SDC towards growth.
As a data center provider, Infinity SDC offers dedicated solutions through three data centers located in the United Kingdom. In November, the company announced plans to acquire an additional data center facility in the Thames Valley area of the country.
