(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Tech giant apple must reissue an apology initially made to competitor Samsung, a UK court has ruled.
The Cupertino-based company had originally published the apology after being found in the wrong regarding a patent battle against the popular Galaxy S3 developer.
However, Samsung refuted that Apple’s apology wasn’t in compliance with the court order.
A representative for Apple, meanwhile, asked a judge for fourteen days to post the new apology.
“We are just amazed that you cannot put the right notice up at the same time as you take the other one down,” remarked Lord Justice Longmore when denying that request.
According to a report from Information Week, Apple’s original apology included lines from the court case favoring Apple’s products. The two companies have been locked into a patent battle for quite some time.
