(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Mobile solution company Unity Mobile recently previewed the latest version of its UNITY platform, a mobile site hosting solution.
With version 3.0, there are quite a few changes the company has made. Among the changes is a new design. With this, the company says its intention was to make the platform “more user friendly.”
While new looks may be the most obvious change, the company has enhanced the performance of specific features by making application loading faster. They’ve also added enhanced metrics. Such a factor gives users statistics on mobile visitors to their sites.
There’s also the overhaul of the platform’s credits system. Explaining this matter in the preview, Unity Mobile stated, “All future Media and SMS credits will no longer be defined per site and will be applicable to all sites on your account.”
“All credits have a flexible expiration date, by default this is set to 180 days after the last purchase, which means that any new purchase moves the expiration date for all credits,” they continued. The changes also affect SMS and media.
The company also looked to make distribution more effective by adding integration with social sites Facebook and Twitter. The new version is expected to be launched on November 22. For more information on Unity Mobile, visit: http://www.unitymobile.com/
