(Ping! Zine) – A recent report released by EL Insights is projecting the U.S. green data center market to reach $13.81 billion by 2015. This growth would represent a 29% increase (CAGR) from the current $3.82 billion market of today.
The report also finds that government spending on green data centers will reach $2.05 billion by 2015, accounting for a near 15% of the green data center market.
In addition, EL Insights finds that U.S. Government expenditures on green data centers will reach $0.86 billion in 2010 and increase to $2.05 billion in 2015, accounting for 14.9% of the green data center market in the U.S.
The EL Insights also predicts a regulation increase for energy monitoring in U.S. data centers.
