Virtualization: VMWorld 2011 Begins in Las Vegas

(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – If you’re interested in virtualization, the festivities have begun! Virtualization provider VMWare’s annual VMWorld conference kicked off today in Las Vegas, Nevada, hosting some of the virtualization industry’s top providers.

Some exhibitors and sponsors at the conference include the likes of Dell, Cisco, IBM, Intel, CA Technologies, and Symantec. The conference lasts until the first of September.

There’s been plenty of news on virtualization in the lead up to the conference’s launch. Just recently, infrastructure provider NTT America announced it was adding hybrid cloud services with VMWare’s help. Computer company Dell also recently announced VMWare compatibility for its EqualLogic line, products pertaining to data center virtualization.
