(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – The Winklevoss Twins are calling it quits in their legal battle against Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg.
The news was reveled when the duo filed a document yesterday with an appeals court, saying they will not pursue further legal action.
The brothers were attempting to overturn a 2008 settlement ruling for $65 million. They had argued that they hadn’t received enough, accusing Facebook of distorting its value at the time of the settlement.
The brothers had initially accused Zuckerberg of stealing the idea for Facebook from them after he agreed to write coding for a Harvard social site in 2003.
Their story was widely popularized in last year’s movie, The Social Network.
