With New Data Center, KnownHost Expands VPS

(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Web hosting provider KnownHost recently increased its data center presence by expanding to a facility by data center solutions provider Net2EZ in Piscatway, New Jersey.

The data center marks the company’s third in the United States and will allow KnownHost to offer more VPS (virtual private servers). Two other locations include California and Texas.

The carrier neutral facility itself supports critical power accounting for 36.4 MW, according to KnownHost’s website. Along with the company’s VPS, KnownHost provides hosting services including dedicated and hybrid.

Discussing the matter in a press release, KnownHost CEO Justin Sauers stated, “Our growth is allowing us to rapidly invest in more managed virtual private server offerings.”

“Adding our third datacenter allows our customers to have more flexibility and reinforces our commitment to providing the best products and the most reliable support in the industry,” Sauers continued.

Meanwhile, the company noted that its current uptime rating was “99.967%.” Just last month, the VPS provider announced that it had added script library Softaculous to its services. For more information on KnownHost, visit: http://www.knownhost.com/
