(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – World of Warcraft users in the UK will be seeing a increase in their subscription fee once the Warlords of Draenor expansion releases in November.
“We regularly look at our pricing around the world and from time to time we make changes in light of local and regional market conditions,” says a WoW forum post. “We will reach out to relevant players approximately two months prior to the price change with a reminder.”
Starting on November 13th, subscription prices will increase to £9.99 for 30 days, £28.17 for 90 days, and £52.14 for 180 days, with the 60-day prepaid time card priced at £20.99.
Blizzard noted that current subscribers will be able to keep their current subscription fee for the next two years as long as their service is not interrupted.
“This applies to anyone who is already in, or signs up for, a recurring subscription prior to the price change, which is scheduled to take place at the Warlords of Draenor release,” adds the developer.
