(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Blizzard has announced that UK World of Warcraft members will be seeing a price increase in their subscription fees this November alongside the release of the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion.
“We regularly look at our pricing around the world and from time to time we make changes in light of local and regional market conditions,” says a WoW forum post. “We will reach out to relevant players approximately two months prior to the price change with a reminder.”
The developer added that current subscribers will be able to keep their current price for the next two years as long as their service is not interrupted.
The increased subscription prices will begin on November 13th, in which the fee for 30days will increase to £9.99, £28.17 for 90 days, and £52.14 for 180 days, with the 60-day prepaid time card priced at £20.99.
