WWDC: iOS 6 to Add More Facebook Integration?

(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Exactly what are hardcore Apple fans in store for during the Cupertino, California-based company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) next week? Perhaps further integration for iOS 6 with top social network Facebook, as indicated by a report from All Things D.

While details regarding the move remained vague, the story mostly highlighted a possible settlement regarding legal woes between Apple and internet search company Yahoo concerning the use of patents.

Apple iOS 6 is expected to be featured on the upcoming iPhone 5. Meanwhile, a plethora of new details regarding still unreleased Apple devices could be unveiled at the conference. While many rumors have corned the iPhone 5 and a possible Apple HDTV, the Curpertino, California-based company is widely expected to roll out a new line of Macbook Pros in the near future.

Facebook has increasingly enjoyed a close relationship with Apple-rival Microsoft. Last year, the social network integrated itself with Skype, a subsidiary of the Windows maker. Facebook has also worked with Microsoft to advertise company search engine Bing.

Apple holds its WWDC event annually, drawing Apple-centric developers from all over the globe. This year, the conference will be held from June eleventh to the fifteenth in San Francisco, California.
