(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – If you thought the Xbox 360 would be rendered obsolete in the wake of Microsoft’s announcement of the Xbox One, think again. On Monday, the company reaffirmed its commitment to the 360, introducing a redesigned exterior that makes the console look a lot like, well, the Xbox One.
“We’ve taken all we have learned these past eight years and engineered anew Xbox 360 console that is elegant and accessible to anyone. There’s never been a better time to experience everything Xbox 360 has to offer,” stated Microsoft’s Yusuf Mehdi via a press release.
The Xbox 360 is also expected to receive new games including Ascend: Hand of Kul, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition.
The revamped Xbox 360 has already shipped to retailers. Pricing for the 4GB version is set at $199.99 while a Kinect 4GB Bundle and 250GB edition are set at $299.99.
