(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The nightmare that was Xbox Live’s downtime over the weekend has reached its conclusion as Microsoft recently confirmed that all errors had been fixed.
“If you were one of the members who was having issues signing in to Xbox LIVE, good news! This issue has been fixed! Thank you so much for your patience during this time, feel free to go enjoy your favourite games and content,” stated the company via its Xbox Live Status Page, according to a report from Gamepur.com.
Microsoft had started fixing the problems shortly after they occurred but another issue continued to plague popular title Minecraft when users were unable to save games.
Speculation regarding the downtime was rampant as some assumed the incident was caused by hackers. However, that wasn’t the case as a Microsoft representative told VG247.com that it was actually caused by “networking misconfiguration during routine maintenance.”
