On Monday the group the group took down Xbox’s online service, promising to launch more attacks later this month.
“Microsoft will receive a wonderful Christmas present from us,” wrote the group via Twitter after they launched the attack. They continued by stating, “that’s a small dose of what’s to come on Christmas. #LizardSquad”
However, they did not wait long until attacking again because Friday evening another Xbox Live outage occurred, affecting the Xbox 360’s Core Service, reports ThisIsXbox.
Two days after PSN took a hit, causing issues with players trying to log onto their accounts.
When players tried to access the PS store yesterday they were met with a message stating: “Page Not Found! It’s not you. It’s the internet’s fault.”
LizardSquad took credit for the attack, writing via Twitter, “PSN Login #offline #LizardSquad.”
The group promises to continue to wreck havoc throughout the month.
