Xbox Live Issues Unrelated To Titanfall’s Release, Says Microsoft

Xbox Live Issues Unrelated To Titanfall's Release, Says Microsoft (Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Respawn Entertainment’s highly anticipated first person multiplayer game launched last week and has already caused many issues with Xbox Live.

Users have been complaining on Twitter about issues with party chat randomly turning off, not being able to get into matches, and some have not been able to sign in at all.

Microsoft has assured users that the Xbox Live issues are completely unrelated to Titanfall, although it is a coincidence that these problems occurred not long after its release.

“Microsoft is investigating an issue that may interrupt customer access to some Microsoft online services. This is unrelated to the launch of Titanfall and the Xbox Live service is up and running. The issue on Xbox is resolved, but unfortunately a small percentage of Xbox One owners may still experience a sign-in issue on Xbox Live,” says the company.

Microsoft advises users who are experiencing problems to power cycle the console by pressing and holding the Xbox button for 5 seconds to shut it down, then wait 30 seconds before powering it back on.
