(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Microsoft, along with partner BesTV, have announced that the new launch date for the Xbox One in China is set for September 29th.
According to Polygon, users who purchase the console will receive free access to Xbox Live Gold until March.
The launch of the console will include a list of 10 games approved by the Chinese government, which include the following:
- Forza Motrosport 5
- Kinect Sports Rivals
- Powerstar Golf
- Zoo Tycoon
- Dance Central Spotlight
- Naught Kitties
- Rayman Legends
- Max: The Curse of Brotherhood
- Neverwinter Online
- Trials Fusion
Microsoft noted that more than 70 other titles are “in the pipeline for approval” in the country, which include Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Killer Instinct.
On Saturday the tech giant announced that it planned to delay the launch due to the company needing a “bit more time to deliver the best experiences possible for our fans.”
Earlier this year China lifted its 14-year ban on the production and sales of video game consoles, allowing companies such as Nintendo and Microsoft to sell their consoles in the country again.
