(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Microsoft on Wednesday specified exact shipment dates for its highly anticipated Xbox One console – a device set to hit stores on November 22nd.
“Speaking of launch, we’re now in a position to share that Xbox One will be available on Nov. 22, 2013 in all 13 of our initial launch markets – Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and USA. Many more markets will follow in 2014,” stated Microsoft’s Yusuf Mehdi via Xbox Wire.
Meanwhile, the company also announced a CPU increase for Xbox One, upping the size from the original 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz, a move the company said represented a 10% CPU performance increase.
Mehdi noted the boost would mean that the console would feature “that much more power for developers to make their games and entertainment really shine.”
Those interested in Xbox One can go ahead and reserve the console. The device comes with a $499 price tag.
