(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Attention Apple fan boys and girls, the latest round of speculation has arrived and this times it involves the iPad.
According to a Monday report from DIGITIMES, a fifth-generation iPad will be thinner at 0.2mm compared to the previous 0.25mm – a welcome sign that should also make it 25-33% lighter.
Trial production of the new iPad could begin in July with expected shipping slated for September.
Meanwhile, the new iPad could cut down to backlighting from just one LED light bar as compared to the two used in the previous generation.
Apple released the 4th generation of its 9.7 inch tablet last fall.
